Design of low-temperature asphalt mixtures
Líšková, Jana ; Zajíček, Jan (referee) ; Varaus, Michal (advisor)
In this diplomatic work, the issue of low-temperature asphalts and binders for asphalt mixtures is solved. Diploma work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part of diploma work, the purpose was to process a overview of technologies that allow the reduction of working temperature in the production and laying of asphalt mixtures. The purpose of the practical part was to comparison the functional parameters of two types of asphalt mixtures made in two variants, with the common asphalt binder and adding licomont into asphalt. Attention was given to stiffness, wheel drive tests and low temperature parameters.
Usage of foam bitumen technology
Machel, Ondřej ; Komenda, Radek (referee) ; Hýzl, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the production of warm mix asphalts, using the foam bitumen technology. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on the basic division of roadway constructions, particularly on warm mix asphalts. The aim of the practical part was to find out whether the produced asphalt mixture retains its functional properties when the operating temperature is reduced. For this purpose, two asphalt mixtures of the ACO 11+ type at operating temperature of 150 °C and reduced operating temperature of 130 °C were made. Functional tests and empirical and functional tests were carried out on the produced asphalt mixtures and the extracted bitumen binders respectively. In the conclusion of the thesis, the results of the tests are mutually compared.

Phenotypic and functional characterization of leukocytes in patients with immune system dysregulation
Fejtková, Martina ; Kanderová, Veronika (advisor) ; Vlková, Marcela (referee) ; Balounová, Jana (referee)
Inborn errors of immunity (IEI) are a heterogenic group of diseases of the immune system causing dysregulations of both innate and adaptive immunity. New altered immune-related genes are discovered every year, nowadays reaching over 400. (Tangye et al., 2020) Here three new autoinflammatory disorders of IEI patients are described. Toll-like receptors (TLR) 7 and 8 are endosomal receptors in the innate immune response against external pathogens and endogenous autoantigens. A dysregulation in TLR7 and TLR8 in mice causes autoimmunity and inflammation, however, in humans, the immunopathology of TLR8 and TLR7 remains unclear. We identified a novel X-linked c.1715G>T mutation in TLR8 that leads to autoimmune haemolytic anaemia and autoinflammation in male twins caused by dysregulation in TLR8 and TLR7 response especially in myeloid cells (low TLR8 protein expression, cross-reactivity of TLR8 for TLR7 ligands and enhanced TLR7 response). Hematopoietic cell kinase (HCK) belongs to the Src family of kinases and is involved in myeloid cell migration, adhesion and degranulation. Kinase activity in the immune response must be strictly regulated. In HCK, this regulation is based on C-terminal inhibitory tyrosine, which when phosphorylated, HCK kinase activity is switched off. We identified a heterozygous...
Reliability of DNS tests in cunical practise
Stýblová, Jaroslava ; Kobesová, Alena (advisor) ; Demeková, Júlia (referee)
Introduction: Functional testing which is used in rehabilitation is mainly based on aspection and palpation. It is a subjective examination of a patient and you cannot find out specific physical quantities with this method. If you want to use functional tests in clinical practise it is necessary to determine the reliability of the tests. Aim: To determine the inter-rater reliability for the DNS tests and to create a detailed descriptive statistics and a new evaluation sheet. Materials and methods: There were six experienced evaluators who are trained for the DNS method. We have worked with a mixed group of patients. There were patients with health problems as well as patients without any difficulties (n = 10 women, average age - 34, 5, n = 4 men, average age - 35, 2). We used percentage agreement, Fleiss's kappa coefficients (κ) and P-value. Results: The research of DNS tests reliability is innovative. Evaluators of DNS tests usually agree with each other. In some cases there is a problem with using Fleiss's kappa coefficients (κ) because of the position of relative frequencies. In most tests we found out that the inter-rater reliability is good (κ ≥ 0.80), substantial (0.60 ≤ κ < 0.80) and moderate (0.40 ≤ κ < 0.60). Conclusion: The evaluation of one character in a case of one patient by three...

Lower extremity stabilization function assessment using inertial sensors and functional tests in women's american football players
Hančová, Jana ; Pospíšilová, Mariana (advisor) ; Geržová, Eliška (referee)
The master's thesis "Lower extremity stabilization function assessment using inertial sensors and functional tests in women's american football players" adresses postural control assessment in terms of functional joint stability using inertial sensors. The theoretical part is devoted to matters of functional joint stability, its control and it provides review of assessment options. Also inertial measurement unit function and application for human motion tracking are discussed. The last chapter covers American football considering the research group in the study. The experimental part is in form of study, which uses inertial sensor-based parameters to evaluate functional joint stability that are placed on four body segments and the results are compared with functional test results. We evaluated one-legged stance and single-leg hop test. One-legged stance, bear position and squat were chosen for the functional tests. Obtained data were also discussed in the context of history of injury in the last two years. Results confirm applicability of inertial measurement units for lower extremity stabilization objectification. We proved correlation of thight, shin and instep time to stabilization (TTS) with one-legged stance score and similarly thight and shin TTS with bear position score.

Options of using physiotherapy at patients with amputation of their lower limb
ROŽNOVJÁKOVÁ, Tereza
This bachelor deals with the possibilities of the use of physiotherapy at patients with amputation of the leg. The loss of the lower limb has a major influence on change in postural stability. Despite the prosthetic equipment patient has impaired proprioception, which is reflected to the pathological walk with compensatory mechanism. We are trying to return a person to normal life with minimal disabilities using specific physiotherapy methods with adequate training and stability. In the theoretical part there is a summary description of amputation and its influence on postural stability, further I deal with protetics options, where I am closely describing the use of functional and posturograf tests. In the end I deal with physiotherapeutics prosthetic equipment and methods applied in practice. The aim of the practical part is to assess the changes in postural stability with the use of the instruments with a biological feedback and to map out the qualitative and quantitative parameters of walking of patients with lower limb amputations. For the practical part have been selected qualitative research, which includes case reports of two patients with transfemoral amputations and one transtibial of the lower limb. Both input and output examination includes a complete analysis of kinesiologic, functional tests with posturography examination of postural stability. Each patient attended 10 individual therapies to increase the stability. The results were compared between input and output of tests. All patient's postural stability has been positively affected with a slight improvement in posture. Despite the regular therapy we didn't suceed to change the pathological components. This state can be caused by the prothesis, which was by all patients described as unsatisfing. Bachelor thesis may be used by students of physiotherapy for extension of their knowledge, or they can apply the knowledge during their practice. It can also be used as educational material for patients who are interested in the issue.
